Remembering Elvis OSTs on August 16th

This week's show is dedicated to the King.  All music from Elvis films and covers of such music.  The show is archived here as 8/14/11.

Elvis Aaron Presley (January 8, 1935 – August 16, 1977), born in Tupelo, Mississippi, became a film star in 1956, and would go on to appear in a total of 33 feature films (25 as the leading man). Despite a strong, promising start to his acting career, Presley left Hollywood and returned to live performing in 1969, after his later films were critically panned throughout the 1960s.
